IN THIS LESSON

Working parents, especially those who are single parents…

…need a place of safety where their child/children are taken care of during working hours.

You can start a créche or nursery school and offer as many or few days a week, for as many or few hours a day, are suitable for you and your clients.

References and experience of caring for children of various ages will need to be acquired before you open a crèche, and you can gain this experience by working for a crèche owner for a stipend while you learn and experience how to run a crèche.

Once you have the experience, you can offer your services at your home or in a suitable space. You would have to purchase the necessary equipment for teaching children basic education skills.

Once you’ve reached a certain size you can start employing teachers and increase the ages of the children you cater for and expand your offer to include older children.
